Spring is nature’s way of saying, "Let’s party!"  ~Robin Williams

Happy almost April.  Be careful tomorrow and don't get taken by an April Fool's Joke.

Upcycle Watercolor Art
Working on a Spring Yellow Flower Watercolor - from a photo that my dear friend Greg sent me from their yard. Hope it turns as as lovely as his perfect photo shot.

Just finished refurbishing a great find at the Northwest Christen Store here in Spokane.  I purchased for almost nothing an under-bed storage that already had casters.  A great neighbor friend Bob has a little workshop and I purchased the wood for the top and had a a 4x4 to add height to the (now) porch storage bench.  I didn't take before shots, darn, however it has turned out great.  Had a young painter prime and paint inside and out and three seating cushions from Lowe's finished it off.  Here are some photo shots.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to You

Enjoy these last few days of Winter and planning for a happy, sunny, warm, colorful Spring.

Planning my year - contemplating the upcoming events and shows and contributions for 2016.

Seeking out and pondering on new methods, styles, colors, themes and on and on.

To continue or not on ideas developed over the last two years or change paths and seek out the new.

Along with my art - my business - how about my friends, or my acquaintances do I continue
with current routines, or do I make way for new?

Travel, stay put, be adventurous, be safe, seek out challenges, or take the comfortable path?

Work local, enter regional, national, or global?

February is merely as long as is needed to pass the time until March.

January 2016 - Welcome To The New Year of the Monkey

Hello to January 2016 - It may well be the year of the Monkey, however, I haven't painted one yet. I do have a few animal paintings shown in my watercolor, recycle/up cycle art paintings shared here.  I've had a great time searching for tossed chalkboards which I revive the chalkboard surface and go on to prime and up cycle the old print with my new watercolor.  They are popular and I love to paint them.

I've been fortunate to connect with Junk'n Chic a darling Antique and Revived Furniture shop on Market here in Spokane.  My recycled art fits right in.  A great place to shop.

Be well - enjoy art more in 2016.  Thank you for following Mi Mano Mi Arte. Love to hear from y'all.
